Events are the perfect opportunity to showcase your company – and they have to be right.

Chris Maguire has hosted more than 400 events, ranging from intimate roundtable discussions and keynote interviews to conferences and award ceremonies.

Maguire has a reputation for his level of preparation and he says that’s because no two events are ever the same.

“You have to treat them completely differently,” he says. “From having the right format to making sure the speakers are confident so that you get the best interviews.

“If people are prepared to give up their time to attend an event, big or small, you have to make sure the content is entertaining, inspiring and valuable.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re hosting a roundtable for 10 people or an awards ceremony for 1,000, you can’t cut corners.”
